Very colourful chocolate with notes of red and yellow fruits.
Hailing from a plantation in the Sambirano region of north-western Madagascar, these beans are unique in that they are the result of a cross between Forastero and Criollo cocoa. The island’s plantations are renowned for the fine quality cocoa beans they produce. On the Ambanja estate, the beans are washed before being roasted in order to reduce their acidity.
